Hello everyone! I am back to blogging again. I had a little break while I was sorting some personal stuff out, but now I am baack!
I have just got finished watching a video from Thomas Heaton who brings up the subject about adding/removing objects from images. It also brought up a lot of mixed comments as I saw in his comment section.
I believe that removing objects to make the image better is completely fine. As in, if a bit of rubbish is in shot or a stray hair on a models face. But also I believe that adding stuff to an image is fine as well. BUT not telling someone and trying to past it off as an original is completely wrong.
So for example, the above image is a composite(a fake) I took two images, put them into photoshop, bit of magic and BOOM this above image was born. Now if I tried to past this off as an original, i think that would be wrong. I get that photography is an art, but even artists have a few rules they abide by.
